Addictive behaviours around food and other substances
I offer a safe, judgment-free space where recovery is possible. Using evidence-based approaches like CBT and transactional analysis I will meet you exactly where you are — whether you’re just beginning to consider change or seeking long-term support.
The Therapeutic Process
You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to take the first step.
Counselling will help you uncover outdated beliefs that lay at the core of every addiction and assist you in rebuilding behavioural patterns to better suit your current needs.
Very often addictive behaviours arise out of fear of being ourselves, having needs and feelings and being visible in the world. Rather than expressing ourselves freely we might develop a fake personality that fits in with other people’s expectations. Addictive substances or behaviours help us maintain this identity.
If you’re tired of the same cycle — promising tomorrow will be different, only to wake up disappointed — know this: change is possible, and you don’t have to do it perfectly or alone.
Many people I worked with once felt hopeless too. Today they’re living proof that recovery isn’t just possible — it’s transformative.
